Set up and invite members. Capriole AI Team costs USD 70 a month for 5 seats. Every member gets unlimited web chat with GPT-6 Astra, Claude Fable 5.1, Claude Opus 5.5, and Gemini 4 Argon, and the team shares 50 million API tokens a month for apps and coding agents, at up to 92% less than official API prices. The owner pays one bill, invites members by email, and can watch or cap each member's API use. ## Who Team is for Team suits small groups, such as a development team, that want one bill, shared API tokens, and a view of who uses them. If you work alone, Premium covers unlimited web chat and its own API allowance for USD 8 a month. It stops scripted, automated abuse; normal use stays well below it. Each member has their own limit. ## Before you start * Creating a team replaces your Premium plan. If you pay for Premium, the subscription is cancelled immediately and not refunded. * Each member signs up or signs in to Capriole AI with the email address you invite. * Complimentary Capriole Quant access or promotional Premium stays on your account, but it is not used while you are in a team. ## Create a team **1. Open the Team plan** Sign in, select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, choose **Pricing**, then select **For my team**. You can also open **Account** and select **Create team** in the **Team** section. **2. Subscribe** Select **Subscribe**. If you have Premium, a **Create Team?** dialog explains that your Premium subscription will be cancelled immediately and not refunded. Select **Continue**. **3. Pay in Stripe Checkout** Stripe Checkout opens. Enter your payment details, and a promotion code if you have one, then pay. **4. Name your team** Capriole AI returns you to **Account** and opens **Name your team**. Enter a name and select **Save**. Your plan now shows **Team**, and you are the team's owner. ## Invite members **1. Send the invite** In **Account** → **Team**, select **Invite member**. Enter the member's **Email** and select **Invite**. Capriole AI emails them an invite link. The invite shows as **Pending** in your member list and takes a seat. **Seats** shows how many of the 5 are used. **2. The member accepts** The member opens the link and signs up, or signs in with the invited email. A dialog asks them to join your team. They select **Accept invite**, which switches their active plan to Team, or **Decline**. A member who is already signed in also sees the invite in **Account** → **Team**. > [!WARNING] > > If the member pays for Premium, accepting the invite cancels that subscription immediately without a refund. To withdraw an invite, open its menu in the member list and choose **Cancel invite**. ## Manage members | Role | What the role can do | | - | - | | **Owner** | Everything an admin can do. The owner cannot be removed, and ownership cannot be transferred. | | **Admin** | Rename the team, invite and remove members, change roles, set alert and cap tokens, buy team top-ups, and manage billing | | **Member** | Use unlimited web chat and team-billed API access, and see their own API usage | Owners and admins see each member's email, role, and team API usage. To change a role, open the member's menu, choose **Member settings**, pick a **Role**, and select **Save**. To remove someone, open their menu, choose **Remove**, and confirm. The member loses access to the team plan immediately, and their seat frees up. ## Share API tokens Each member creates their own keys on the [API page](https://www.capriole.ai/?view=api). While you are in a team, every API request uses the team's tokens: first the 50M included each month, then team top-up tokens. On the API page, **Usage** shows **Included team usage** and **On-demand team usage**. Owners and admins can filter by **Member** to see each person's requests and charged tokens. The [API keys and usage guide](https://docs.capriole.ai/guides/api-keys-usage.md) explains the filters. ### Set alert and cap tokens Owners and admins can set two optional limits for each member in **Member settings**. Both count charged tokens over a rolling 30 days. * **Alert tokens**: when the member reaches this amount, Capriole AI emails the team's owners and admins. * **Cap tokens**: when the member reaches this amount, their team-billed API access stops until their usage falls below the cap or you change it. Leave a field blank for no alert or no cap. Web chat is not affected. ## Buy team top-ups Owners and admins select **Top up** on the API page. A pack costs USD 80 for 50M tokens, and you can buy 1 to 5 packs at once. Each extra pack adds 2.5% off, up to 10% off for 5 packs (250M tokens). ## Rename, billing, and ending the team * **Rename**: in **Account** → **Team**, open the menu next to the team name and choose **Rename**. * **Billing**: owners and admins select **Manage subscription** in **Account** to update payment details, see invoices, or cancel in Stripe. * **When the team ends**: each member's account returns to Free, or to complimentary Capriole Quant or promotional access that is still active. Premium subscriptions cancelled when members joined are not restored. ## Common questions ### How much does Capriole AI Team cost? USD 70 a month for 5 seats. Every member gets unlimited web chat, and the team shares 50 million API tokens a month. More tokens cost USD 80 per 50 million. ### What happens to my Premium subscription when I join a team? A paid Premium subscription is cancelled immediately and not refunded. Complimentary Capriole Quant or promotional access stays on your account but is not used while you are in the team. ### Does a pending invite use a seat? Yes. Seats count members and pending invites, so cancel invites you no longer need. ### Can I transfer team ownership? No. The owner stays the owner and cannot be removed. Admins share the owner's management and billing permissions. ### Do team members share the daily chat limit?
